The SJ Committee, or Skinny Jeans Committee is an online magazine that me and my friends are planning to put together in the near future. We needed a few shots for the magazine, and decided to get started right away. The first image in the this blog post is of myself; the SJC Photo Shoot is the my first project that I decided to throw myself into. I used a wireless remote control made by Cactus Electronics in order to control the camera while I was in the picture.
The jelly bean wine glasses were inspired by the movie Ghostrider. The jelly beans serve two purposes. They’re there to add a bit of fun to the image. They also act as a symbol of irony. Six teenagers dressed up trying to act grown, but at the same time we’re all holding candy.
On a side note… jelly beans are nasty as hell.
